1Introduction

Welcome to Dayvium.

Dayvium is a privacy-focused journaling and self-reflection platform designed to help users think clearly, write consistently, and organize their personal life in a calm digital environment.

This Privacy Policy explains:

  • What information we collect
  • How we use it
  • How we protect it
  • The choices you have regarding your data

By using Dayvium, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect:

  • your email address,
  • encrypted authentication credentials,
  • and basic account preferences.

🔒 Passwords are never stored in plain text.

Journal Data

Your journal entries are stored securely within the Dayvium platform.

End-to-End Encryption (E2EE)

By default, End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) is enabled during onboarding to provide stronger privacy protection.

  • If E2EE is enabled: journal content is encrypted on your device before being stored, and encrypted entries cannot be directly read by Dayvium servers.
  • If you choose to disable E2EE: future non-encrypted entries may become technically accessible to authorized administrators only when necessary for platform maintenance, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or support-related situations.

* Previously encrypted entries remain encrypted and unreadable without the original encryption context. Certain sensitive journal systems, including Management Journals, require E2EE to remain enabled at all times.

Usage & Analytics Data

We collect limited technical and usage information to improve platform reliability and performance. This may include:

  • login frequency,
  • device/browser type,
  • feature interaction,
  • session activity,
  • and general performance diagnostics.

📊 Dayvium currently uses Vercel Analytics. We do not use invasive behavioral advertising trackers.

Authentication & Session Data

To keep your account securely signed in, Dayvium may use:

  • JWT authentication tokens,
  • local storage,
  • secure session systems,
  • and essential cookies.

These are used strictly for authentication, security, and platform functionality.

3How We Use Your Information

* After the recovery period ends, account data may be permanently removed from our systems.

8Children’s Privacy

Dayvium is intended for users aged 13 years or older.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If we become aware that data from a child under 13 has been collected unintentionally, we will take reasonable steps to remove it.
